Giant Wood Spider (Nephila maculata)

A fully grown Giant Wood Spider can be as wide as your palm and weave webs which are almost a meter in diameter. Our jeep stopped right under this one's cobweb and I shot the picture from right under the spider. Thats why the web appears to be horizontal.
